SMS has over the years developed tremendous manufacturing facilities to suit its style of operations and to meet the requirements of USFDA and WHO GMP. A total of 5 facilities are being presently operated in and around Hyderabad, India

 

UNIT  1
Highlights
Designed as per WHO GMP standards
Spread over an area of 62,500 Sq.m
Located at Khazipally Industrial Area of Medak district
4 main production blocks with reactor volume of 320 KL
Capable of manufacturing 12 to 13 products
Manufactures intermediates to feed the FDA approved units
This is the first unit of SMS Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Ranitidine HCl @ 1440 MTA is manufactured at this unit. The production blocks are multipurpose in nature and can be conveniently used for manufacturing of any product mix.

Reactor volume 52 KL with capability to manufacture 14 to 15 products

This is the second unit of SMS pharmaceuticals Ltd and has successfully faced USFDA audit in 2004 and 2008. Sumatriptan succinate, anti-migraine and other high value products are manufactured here.

Unit for pelletisation / granualisation of products
Located at Jeedimetla Industrial Area
Spread in an area of 2,500 Sq.m
Built up area - 1200 Sq.m
Pelletisation of products like Itraconazole, Omeprazole, Pantoprazole and Lansoprazole etc.
This facility is meant mainly for pelletisation / granualisation of products manufactured at our other units.
