Research Facilities
Presently the company executes its research activities in two research centers apart from the research setups functional at all the manufacturing units for solving the unit specific process and product issues

Research Center I

A state of art global corporate research center has been established in Hyderabad, India to cater to in-house research needs and for focusing on CRAMS
The Research center has infrastructure required right from product conception stage to product development, testing manufacturing validation batches at pilot plant level to enable DMF filing

RESEARCH LABS
» 40,000 Sft of research Lab area
» 20 labs including a dedicated oncology lab with containment facilities
» Each Lab to have 10 to 12 research chemists
» Capable of supporting development of 40 products per annum
» Each lab would be headed by a PhD group leader guided by research center head
» Chemists would be graduates /post graduates with relevant experience
» Facility to aid CRAMS

QA/QC BLOCK
The research center is supported by 22,000 Sft of QA/QC block
» Self contained with all modern analytical equipment
» Experienced staff providing QC support for product development
» Equipment GC, HPLC, IR/UV spectrophotometers, digital scanning calorimeter, polarimeter, titrator, stability chambers etc

KILO LAB
A kilo lab with all glass systems is also established for scaling up products to kilo level after successful completion of the gram batches in labs.
» Kilo Lab area of 3,000 Sft
» Capacities from 50 Lts to 150 Lts
» Utilities Support for Scale up

PILOT PLANT
The scale up activity also includes a fully equipped pilot plant to support
» Pilot plant area of 3200 Sft for validation batches
» Contains All Glass Systems and SS Reactors (up to 500L)
» Includes clean room facility
» Complies with cGMP Standards
» Can Opt for DMF filing
Total capacity of all scale up systems - 4500 Lts

SUPPORT INFRASTRUCTURE
Support infrastructure includes
» Well equipped library for literature support
» Literature and technology browsing infrastructure
» Tie up with premier Institutions for literature support
» Video conferencing facility
» Training facilities (regular training conducted with-in house and external trainers)
» Well stocked ware-house
» Cafeteria facility

Research Center II
An in-house research center in Hyderabad, India focuses on continued research activity for
» Cost optimization of already commercialized products
» Synthesis of impurities for already commercialized products
Supported by fully functional analytical development division
Two doctorates and about 25 research chemists work at this center
